Back on topic, the vehicle in the original post is a heavily modified Axiom. It was built by Mike Goldin who owns a subaru shop near where I live in Aurora. http://www.summitauto.us/

Did you know a Honda S2K is about 8K less than an STI and beats the turbo charged STI naturally aspirated in the 1/4 mile. Can you imagine what you could do with 8K to a S2K?!!! It would crush any STI, not to mention it actually looks sporty.......

i've been stressing over and over again that i need something to 1. carry my 150lb dog in. 2. something that can get me around, year round. 3. can still be quick and fun to drive...

Hey, I've taken my bumps and bruises for owning Jeeps, from those here, guilty of "cute ignorance" (I like that one, Gary!) toward extreme wheeling. So I feel warm and fuzzy to see a bit of dishing on those geared toward "street/dirt wheeling". When you own a vehicle like the VehiCROSS - a jack of all trades, master of none - it is just natural for the mid-range owners to lash out at the rigs atop the pedestal of those sports... dare I say the VX is a rare mix of those vehicles among two kingdoms, dominated separately, by Subaru and Jeep. Yes, I dare...

hmm...to each their own huh?
