    My recent drive.

I just returned from a day trip. These photos are from the central coast, about 40 KM north of Gosford. It had been raining off and on for two weeks straight.

The mud was like driving on slippy glass...but so much freaking fun!

Questions, how many Toyotas does it take to get though the mud?

    Answer 3

This is the recovery vehicle that followed us around.

    Me playing.

Will link some more photos later.

Very cool! Have fun getting all the mud out of all the nooks and crannies!
I played in the mud a few times and hated trying to clean everything...months later was still finding mud in places you wouldn't expect!
Now I stick to the rocks!

Very nice!! Good to see you’re not treating it like there were only 175 of them.

Hmmm, that trailer hitch appears to be a "TONE" version. The "CURT" version hangs down underneath and is exposed.

Yes, it looks like you guys had fun. By the way, if the Toyota is an FJ-40, then it only takes "1" to get thru the mud. I see no FJ-40's came along on that particular outing.

Toyota do not market the FJ40 in Australia.
Give it another 10 years or so, and they will send you guys the Landcruisers we get now.

Very nice. We have been getting lots of rain lately. I am itching to go play but like Billy said, I hate to clean it up.

    >.> hehe, gotto drive it off road other wise its just a show pony....oh wait....

re the trailer hitch or tow bar, that came with the car when i bought it. I always figured it was of a rodeo. i will get under the car with a camera and post a few photos.

Cleaning the mud was fun i spent 4 hours driving to my mates house then 6 hours in the mud then 4 hours home. so worth the drive! its been bone dry around here so it was nice to see shades of green and not shades of brown.

One thing though if you do play in mud, clean it off asap! and always do a underbody check.
