No doubt, that's why I'm going to order a color swatch first. Although, if you look at the guys who did the yellow seat covers on their Protons, the colors don't match too closely but they still look really good (IMHO).Originally Posted by pbkid

The yellow/proton works because there is no "sparkle" in colours like white, yellow, black, etc.
The tonal differences of a metalflake type paint (foxfire, dragon, astral, etc.), which are dependent on lighting, could make even a good match look bad in certain lighting conditions...my two cents worth.

Does any one want to be guilty if VT_maverick doen't like the outcome ?.
I personally will look for covers that match more the interior (in your case gray/black) than the exterior.
If you go for the wine/black covers which i feel more inclined for you should think about how would them look with the door panels. You'll have to actually paint the panels to match 100% the covers if you are very concern about it
