as for your muffler, if there is fiberglass fill in it, give it a month or so, the sound of my exhaust changed pretty drastically over the first month or two
I had Magnaflow's put on my Ram & they sounded "farty" for a couple days and then "wow" did they sound nice after they seemingly had to break-in.
