    Sprey, not saying don't do it, but if it is the same as the american spec, you will have 02 sensors front and rear of cat and ECM might get confused, but I'm guessing

    well, without the converter doing whatever the hell it does, that might be a exercise in futility, but again, I am WAG'ing:bgwg:

    Good point, Still tossing up if i will get it done or not, have yet to go look for the sensors as its raining outside.

    Ok I finaly decided to have a look last at the Cat last monday. And to my surprise No sensors! Just the cat it self.
    So i booked it in at a local car shop that i had do exhaust work on my old celica.

    Took it down this morning and got the cat taken out and replaced with a pipe.

    So far. Its a tad louder. More exhaust tone that droney loudness you get with say a less baffled muffler.
    Quite happy i did the mod.

    Heres the Cat before it got taken out.

    And with the new pipe inplace and the cat gone!.

    I'm no stranger to that top end holw, more raw vegitables & grain will help with torque loss...
