Sprey, did you notice a loss in low-end torque at all yet? When I switched to a Flowmaster Hushpower II I lost back pressure and ended up losing some low-end grunt.
It farts a bit when cool but sounds pretty good when it is warmed up!
I did loss some of it though,specially after i added the 2nd muffler
I'm running with one pipe of 2" each side (OEM diameter)
The mufflers aren't high performance,but half the size of the OEM muffler.
The trick here is the pipe's diameter.My mufflers are very loud on the middle RPM's,they triggers any car's alarm when ever i push down on the gas pedal but it growls very good according to neighbors living three blocks away LOL.
However i'm aware this set up have to be redesigned,just isn't the time.
I've scheduled a dyno test for my horse on augst with the current exhaust configuration & figured out how much HP is the horse handling.
I think our 215 hp engine doesn't give us much of options to gain a nice exhaust growl such as the subaru impreza STI.
