In my quest for spare parts I was sent pics of a VX that was used for crash testing!! Not from a factory, but evidentally there was some sort of lawsuit going on and the LAWYERS NEEDED A VX TO SMASH so the bought this perfectly good used one and dropped things on it! Now it sits in a wrecking yard. The trans and T-case and rear end are gone, but the rest is there. I am getting more pics, but this is what i have seen so far as I was originally asking about the doors. The guy wants $2500 for the whole thing, but I think that is a little steep. You could get more parting it, but that is his business, not mine. I would only be interested in returning it to the road, topless, but I think you would be ahead of the game, financially, buying a running VX. Well, here are the sad pictures:





So the real question is who sold it for this and did they know this was it's ultimate fate???

Aw hell, I was gonna sit on that info until I got what i wanted from it, but it is up in LA at some dismantler up there. I can get you his email or phone tomorrow. If you are looking for big stuff maybe we can work something for what we both want. I am looking for the three doors and the ABS.

If you guys go look, please tell me how the tailgate looks and what they would be asking for the whole thing shipped up to Reno. I honestly want an Ebony one, but if I get another color I could just get it repainted instead of needing body work AND a repaint.
