high mileage vs synthetic oil

Is that Mobil 1 filter the "longer" variety? I read somewhere that you can upgrade to a longer filter; the one on my VX is like 3 inches long...

I've used Mobil1 M1-104 filters since my first oil change, and I've now got 117,500 on my VX. I did a Google search a few minutes ago and found a thread on the Acura MDX site where a guy says he was able to install the longer M1-105 filter on his MDX. I've got my last M1-104 sitting on the shelf, so I may try to find an M1-105 for my 120K tuneup.
