Don't know if this is the absolute best place to put this post, but since we have been talking about dedicating this year's Moab to Tone and making t-shirts for him, I found an image that might be good.
I was trying to find the door popper installation instructions on Tone's CD that he sends with everything, and if you take a look at all of the pictures on there, there are some really good ones. There are a couple of him that are just spot on Tone, but the one I found seems like it could be a pretty good representation of him without actually using a picture (I agree that picture t-shirts can be a bit cheezy).
What do you think?
"The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong, it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair."
-Douglas Adams, Mostly Harmless
I just found out tonight (Thanks for letting me know, Anita). Really at a loss for words, but like I told Anita, I always thought of him as an invincible man. I guess none of us are invincible...
He's helped me out so many times over the years. I feel lucky to have known and met him. My condolences to all his family & friends. He was certainly a man who made an impact on our world. Rest in peace man.

Wow...Damn....I suddenly feel very very old
You guys should have heard the wonderful things that were said about Tone at his service. I cried like a baby. Here was a guy who would help ANYONE, anywhere, any time. He was a great friend to many, a good brother and son, and a very good father.
He liked music and cars and travel and fast things. He liked good coffee and Apple computers. (Maybe we were separated at birth?) He is definitely someone I would have liked more time with.
On one hand, 48 years is way too young to leave the planet.
On the other hand, he really utilized those years with a full life.
See you on the other side, Tone!

I can't stop thinking about how much Tone meant to all of us.I know that he would not want us to be crying and moping about, all down in the mouth. When I think of Tone, I am reminded of a quote I heard recently that totally describes Tone's philosophy on life:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, 'Atomic Fireballs' in one hand and 'a diet Mountain Dew in the other', body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
It was just way to soon, for all of us.
