    Did you get aftermarket gaskets? I got mine from ISUZUPARTS.com and they are more like a rubberized material with sheetmetal framework. Far from paper-like.

    Cleaned the idle air and its moving fine. Changed map but didn't help either. Shes still acting up. I did the spray test with the upper intake. I'll try this in a few. I just had this engine installed about 10k ago by the dealer. It's a reman. So the gaskets should theoretically be good but we'll see.

    the original isuzu service manual for the VX stated the intake manifold torque specs at 18 or 19 ft-lbs.. it was later changed to 13 ft-lbs.. if they torqued it to the original specs, the gaskets could very well be bad already, i think the reason for that change was because of failing gaskets
