Turn signals and Hazzards dont work...

    Fuses OK

Is this a relay problem (behind fuses in cabin?)..if so please explain!!!????

I'm Ok on mechanics..lousy on electrics!

    Any input greatly appreciated!

relays are cheap and easy to install my friend....

    probably around $2.50 a piece....

if you can get me the 'relay number' off of the relay i will find out how to test it for you, (or you can just replace them)...

should be easy to replace, unplug and plug in new ones...i will look under my VX later to make sure though...have you found the location of the relays?? if not i can probably find them for ya...

there is a simple electrical way of looking at turn signals/emergency flashers...

12v to the ignition- ignition to the switch- switch to the fuse block- fuse block to relay- relay to bulb- bulb to common grounding point- common grounding to battery.

so, ignition is working so that isnt the issue, if the fuse is recieving power when the switch is on, then the switch is working, if the fuse is good then next is the relay, test the voltage at the bulb to see if the relay is working, if there is no voltage to the bulb, but there is voltage at the fuse (on both sides of the fuse) then its a relay

try that and let me know how it works for ya

try your hazard light switch too, if that goes or the connection is loose, nothing will work

ya good call, the hazard light has constant power to the batt. whether the ignition is on or not... take a multimeter and test the input and the output of the hazard switch...

once again, if you dont know how to do this, ill pull mine apart and tell ya what wires to test...

Flasher relay is behind the D/S kick panel. Hazards are on their own circuit.

so it sounds like the flasher relay to me if they hazard is on its own circuit...

that would cause either (the switch or the hazards) to give voltage to the 87 side of the relay, and no output to come out of it...
