I have an Isuzu CD like the dealers have, but you can find your production date at www.myisuzuparts.com. Just use the VIN Search in the upper right hand corner. They call it an applied date on that site, but it's the same as the official production date on my CD.
Ya don't even have to enter the whole darn thing. You can enter the last six or eight digits only. For all 2001's the first four of the last eight are always 17d0, 2000's are y7d0, and 1999's are x799.
To recap, enter the four digits from above followed by your last four.
You can find your month/year of production in the drivers door jam, but not the exact day. It should match up with what you find on the parts site.
