Moab Monday Night Ice Cream Social

I sort of promised this in another thread so I wanted to let everyone know that there will be and "ice cream social" at The Stoop (Red Rock Lodge) on Monday evening. In know many of us are getting to Moab on different days at different times, and this will just give us one central spot to do a little preliminary meet and greet.

After you have dinner in Moab make sure to stop by The Stoop starting around 7:30pm. Ice cream will be served, I'm sure that adult beverages will be consumed (but you have to bring your own), and the story telling will probably begin. You're encouraged to stay and hang out for a while, but if you can only stop in for a quick hello that would be great. If you can't do either and you can only drive by and "moon" us then more power to you.

Looking forward to seeing some old faces and meeting new "family" members.

Sorry rowhard, I forgot to put the directions at the top. The Red Rock Lodge is super easy to find. If you're on Main Street (Hwy 191) coming from the South then turn left on W. 100 N., if you're on Main Street coming from the North then turn right on W. 100 N. Once you make the turn you'll be able to see the Red Rock Lodge sign at the end of the block. Can't miss it.

I plan on getting some huge tubs of cheap, fat FULL ice cream in vanilla, chocolate, and neopolitan. Hopefully that will cover everyone's tastes. I'll also be packin' sprinkles with me for those who need a little flair with their dairy goodness.

Experimenting with ice cream/alcohol concoctions is HIGHLY encouraged (and damned near required). Looking forward to your monkey dub....

Dub, if you don't want to go buy a blender I have one that I could bring with me. I also have one of those high RPM hand blenders that I could bring too.
