I'm very excited for Moab I won't bring my dog though. Is the date absolutely official? How far in advance will the red rock take reservations? We should try and make it all Vehicrosses, (except for Jim's Trooper, it is Jim right, Ldub?)

Just got off the phone with the nice folks at Red Rock Lodge.
I have room 112 tentatively booked for May 11-17 2009...
I say "tentatively" because they informed me that the "may" not be there any more by next May. Seems the joint is being leveled to make room for something taller.

I can't say for SURE that having a large block of rooms reserved by VX nut jobs would sway their decision in any way...but it couldn't hurt.

An alternate would be to rent out where Brit and I stayed.

JR Desert Inn I think is what it was called.

It only has 10 rooms total, they're decent and inexpensive (not red rock cheap) like $50/night. It's at the end of the main drag (south) Big porch patio.

Wonder when red rock will know.
