Personally I can't see it for anything other than offroading. Looks cheesy on a sports car, plus can you imagine how dirty those outside walls would get? Looks like it would be very difficult to clean...

For on-road purposes I think more aggressive rim sizes with lower profile tires looks much better.

What happens when rocks and debris gets caught in the rubber "spokes"? Very cool concept thought.
