I take it you are talking about kodiak's black racing stripe on his Proton? Yes, looks very good. I don't think he would mind if you copied his idea, eh kodiak?

My safari rack is somewhat unique as well, it's not the normal square/rectangle shape, and its stamped with a large "X" at each junction,

It should fit the unique curves of the Vx perfectly. I will of course post new pics when its on.
