woo hoo! found myself too.. kinda tough to see.. but im right in the center of the photo above the "s 5th st" kinda hard to tell with the size of the pic.. but the silver and hood insert are a dead giveaway
photo must have been taken a long time ago.. looks like the car infront of me is my roommates old blue audi.. which would mean the photo was taken before august 07

now im really confused!!! i just went back to rotate the view.. and i did (couldnt see the vx because of trees) but when i got back to the angle of the photo i just posted.. there are different cars there now! (VX is still there) but there are 2-3 more cars parked on the street and my roommates car is gone.. i havent lived there in like 6 months.. and the view changed over the time span of like the last 15 minutes
EDIT
haha i figured it out.. if the train tracks are in view towards the bottom of the photo.. my roommates car shows up...
if the train tracks arent in view.. my roommates car is gone and 2 others take its place... funny stuff
Yeah, I can understand that. They must have multiple shots for the different angles and some could be from different days. Mine were all from the same time.
Mark
it would appear different days completely.. the view looking north (the one posted is looking south) looks more like i remember (everything is dead and the streets have trash all over)

The Goog has come to our sleepy town... I saw a street view today while looking at a house for sale. I hope they miss our stupid little road... or else my car collection will be one view for all...
My VX finally made it to GoogleEarth streetview!!! SWEET!
They even blurred my plate for me even though I still don't understand why anyone would want that!

Canadian VXer!
I found my VX where I used to work. You can see the cooler on the rack on the back.

These are true satellite photos of the same two locations where I found aerial photos. The black hood insert stands out from space.
I'm still looking for my VX at a third location.

Found mine when from when I came home from college during Christmas 2006. It also shows where I acquired my love to all things vehicular (all though the front driveway seems empty...) There are three buildings at my folks house: House (w/ garage), pool house (w/garage) and a giant garage! The lowest one has parking for 9 and includes a lift. The pool house garage has an oil pit. You can kinda make out the green VW that I have built up as well.

I was messin' 'round and found some much better quality satellite photos of my VX at work. Always keep your VX lookin' good 'cuz ya never know when these photos of your VX are gonna be taken.
My VX is in the center of each shot at three different levels of zoom-
That's Tim in the red Ford truck who parked next to me.He got there after me 'cuz I NEVER park right next to someone.
This time I was using http://www.satelliteviews.net.
And of course, also try to find the close up bird's eye view like the first post in this thread, if you haven't tried already. http://www.bing.com/maps
Give it a try to find your VX or house or whatnot.
