I was towing my boat in 90 degree heat over the weekend & didn't have any heat related issues. If it ain't broke - I ain't gonna fix it.

I agree to this for certain. Mine started showing signs of wear and I have a couple trips coming soon, so I needed a cheap fix in order to afford the gas..
