replacement muffler $500?

Your choice is a retro fit a substitute muffler that makes a fair bit of noise, or the OEM muffler for $500.00 that truly fits the Vehicross and sounds civilized but takes 3 months to construct in Japan.

You mean to tell me that NO aftermarket muffler, that actually muffles (Midas, Sears, Meineke, & about a million other mom & pop muffler shops) can be made to fit???

I'm having a hard time believing that...

Ldub, I think you're reading too much into the prior post. The choices are something aftermarket which may fit or be made to fit but will likely be louder, or the OEM one which will fit, be heavy but sound civilized
