I do like the photo's I've seen with the back seat out and a full size spare mounted. I like that placement VS the roofrack option. Makes more sense to me in a very snowy enviroment...

No, I can't find a pic right now, but it was more like you see how a baja vehicle carries it's spare, on an angled plate that has a giant quick release spinner...Like this...
