    Well ok then, I guess I was completely wrong.

    I was thinking along the lines of spyders idea with an outback or forester hood as the donor. The scoop's not too tall and it's a pretty flat hood.

    LOL,,Nope for the later model WRX scoops your right on the money, taller w/a bill on the top, it reminds me of a wide Submarine Periscope..

    I was thinking of doing the hood insert into a cowl induction style, but motorized. At the flip of a switch it would raise in the back. It would really be for looks but what the heck it could be cool

    I think your scoop looks great. can you give me some info on how you did it.

    Thx Rocket...I wish I could say I did it but I just bought it and a few other members did. A company called Carbon Fiber One (CF1) Made carbon inserts for the VX, some with the Scoop formed in (1 piece insert) and they also made a flat OEM style out of carbon fiber. They stopped making them due to lack of interest (not enough VX's) and I thnk the company has since folded. Last Oct I bought domain carbonfiber1.com For a possible future venture

    VX hood scoop

    Hey guys what about the toyota 4-runner scoop ?

    To me it looks perfect,but i also love the one over the red subaru which is very close to what Vcrossfan installed on his VX.
