Nicely done. Yeah those things do get hot, I hope that tape holds up, it probably will do fine. I chose to enlarge the opening of the stock rubber housing for the wires to be at a 90 degree angle still, and I then bent the metal tabs to hold the bulb tight. Although those metal tabs proved to be a little to loose on one side and hence I had a bulb blow way too soon on me (8-10 months), I called and got two replacement bulbs for $50. So when I install those new ones I will try your tape job and see how it works. Oh and the bulb I had blow on me was not from xenonrider, it was one from an ebay site, this was before I found the xenonrider dude a few years ago, his stuff seems to be high quality, didn't want you to be worrying for no reason.
Littlebeast, what you did with the metal tabs and stuff, are talking about the Hella Micro DE foglights or the main headlights?
Greetings, Earthling. We come in peace... Never mind "Paris to Dakar", the VehiCROSS looks ready for the Martian desert.
Please post pics of your Micro DE's on if you wouldn't mind... I've been thinking of getting some Micro DE HIDs, but going this route would be way cheaper, just buy micro DE and convert to Xenon.
Has anyone used XenonRider kits for the headlights? THey're so inexpensive that I'm skeptical of their build quality and performance.
Well, the pictures are there in the how to thread I wrote. And if you read this thread, it will tell you all about Joesph and xenonrider.com and his product and customer service. It will be money well spent.

I'll order the Bi-Xenon kit tomorrow.
And then I'll work on the Micro DEs shortly there after.
