    Wrench No Power (12 volt)

I have a 99 and it has been sitting for a while. I went to crank it up and there are no indications of 12v power anywhere except at the battery. I pulled the battery and charged it thinking that might be the problem but still nothing. I have about 13v at the battery terminal and on the "Main" fuse.

When I say no power I mean nothing (with key on or off) - no horn, interior lite, head lights, no turn signals, no dash lights, etc.

    Anybody have any good advice??????

    Thanks
    Ed

Sounds like a bad ground cable from the battery.

12v on both sides and I thought about the ground but have not found any place it is bad. Is there any place that may be a common problem?

    Thanks

Yep, sounds like a ground issue. Check the cable at the terminal for corrosion, find the ground point and make sure it hasn't come loose or corroded. Those are the usual areas. The ground cable breaking is usually not going to happen.

Also sometimes the lead terminal on the battery will wear down so the cable terminal doesn't clamp tightly on it.
