nice job mounting the pioneer. I'm in the process of installing a similiar unit (avic d3). I'm having some problems with getting it wired properly . What did you do for the ground?

wired it to a bolt underneath of the glove box...its metal on metal 10mm i believe...

take the glove box out and you will see it on the left right near where i mounted my unit....

and i wasnt aware that alpine made a din sized speaker but thats definately a possibility....

Clarion also makes a din sized center channel... Good stuff...

I think I'm going to order the Pioneer Avic-Z3 in the next day or so... But I'm probably going to loose vents in the process... we'll have to see what I decide once I tear into it.

Then which ever din goes unused I'm going to put a ScanGauge II, Looks like it'll end up being a priceless accessory.

    MTR Wear

    Hi,
I have had my MTRs on for over 50k miles and drive primarily on the street, partially off road... They still have about 1/2 to 3/4 tread left! NO dry-rot either (and I'm in the desert!). They are a bit noisy, but the Flowmaster covers that ... They do GREAT in any situation/terrain. Never got stuck, even in deep sand.

At first they sound like All Terrains, then after about 15k miles, the noise will get louder. (not bad though). Just don't try to talk on the cell while on the highway... they won't be able to hear ya!

yea im actually really happy with the wheels...i spent $10 per wheel and they are super easy to get tires for and they are really tough, i've beat the crap out of em and they dont dent or scratch for anything...

next step is to get them powdercoated black so they look a little better....

Wow, did you get the wheels from a junk yard, $10 is practically free! What size are they? Look great!

What's that on the front by the driver side headlight?
