This is the part that made my bearing repack 100% faster and easy for a do-it-yourselfers. I would have replaced the bearings if they have any burning/scratching. Checker Autoparts has them for 200.00 +/- a few bucks thats the front only. If you have any questions shoot me a PM I just did this.

I bought my bearings for like $10-15 each, you only need two.. 200 is way too much, did you mistype?

Ok what bearings did you buy then. Part number. The cheapest I found was 61.04 at ORiely's.

It is a good idea to follow the 15k or sooner if you play in water.

Woops.. seals are cheap, maybe not bearings.. I think though I was able to order directly from timken (I ordered not radiused ones, so in the middle of the job I just bought the others) for cheaper though, maybe 30 each? I'll go down to the garage later, I know I have a few laying around and try to get some part numbers. My bearings were slightly burned only once, in the other 5 times I've done them they were fine. I use synthetic grease, it's purple, and it usually looks mostly purple on the repack as well. I think it works better.

200.00 is way cheap price out the 4 bearings you need and the two seals. The seals are around 12-15.00 but GOOD bearings are going to cost you. Don't skimp on wheel bearings.

There are two per side. A inner and outer. If you are only doing the outside one you are missing the inner bearings. trust me you wont find a complete bearing set for the VX for under 200.00 with 4 bearings and axle seals

If you were not able to order ones exclusively for the VX what kind of size or other parameter would you look for. I only ask because I have connections to a bearing manufacturer and do not know what to exactly ask/look for.

Ask for a trooper with the tod system. Or Isuzu 10 bolt ifs and 12 bolt rear.
