    Seafoam Treatment

Did the Seafoam treatment on my 99 Isuzu Amigo.
Has over 100,000 miles and still runs great.
Seafoam in the oil, gas and put some through the pcv intake into the engine.
It seems like the Amigo has new like. hope for another 100,000
Anyone have the same experience with Seafoam?

I did it last year, but only in the oil. The engine was running pretty smoothly before, but even smoother afterward. I noticed the rough running spot around 4500 rpm went away afterward. I balked at putting it in the gas tank because I didn't want to drive around with smoke pouring out of the pipe.

    Thumbs up

I just got done running about 20 miles with it in my oil, then changed my oil.
I throw a can into the gas tank when almost empty & fill er' up with hi-test three or four times a year, never notice any smoke.

Huh - well that's interesting. I recall several people saying that it blows white smoke like crazy when you put it in the tank. I'll give it a try...

That's what it was! I think I tried sucking it into the intake, but the engine died the second I unplugged the PCV.

I'm going to give the 928 the Seafoam treatment as soon as it comes out of hibernation...

I've used it in the crankcase and in the gas tank. I didn't notice much of a difference. I am going to do another treatment with my next oil change.
