I almost sometimes hate to show off my dogs....

We currently have 8 German Shepherds (GSD) and two puppies (up for sale in about 5 weeks - they are monsters).

Out our eight the Full black is the mother of most and in her prime (about 4-5 years ago she was ranked 2nd in the Nation of all German Sheps. Since then the son Johann reigns king as 1 in the nation since 2005.... I am not talking about running in circles but rally, obedience and schutzhund trials and events.

You should most definitely search and take a gander at any and all vids you want of SteinbaumGSD on youtube. That is my fathers name and he is the owner of the kennel. We train the local police on bite work. You have no idea how hard Johann, Stretch, and Conrad can hit your protected arm untill you have tried.

Here are a few favorite videos.
Even big dogs and balance on their hind legs.

    Slide Action

Johann if told "bad tree" he will attack a limb and hang untill he can bring it to the ground.

    Here are the pics....
Left to Right: Conrad (my personal male), Stretch, Renni, Chole, Johann, Mocha, Aric, Stassi.

Some of his awards...He has completed more since ...as seen on youtube

A case of bad tree....I am 6'2 and that limb is above my head

P.S. How do you add pictures without inserting to gallery this took me like a half hour to do?

Nice pics everyone! J, those Shepherds are awesome. Both of my grandparents had Shepherds so I have a particular fondness for them, plus, they are wicked smart, as far as dog noodles go. Clint, where is Dink?!?!?

For those of you wondering how to post straight into the thread, all you need is the "path" to the image. Example:

    http://www.nofuture.com/lj/03-17-08/001.jpg

The above is the "path" to a photo of Meana and Tuna. Baiscally, unless the website is coded to protect against it, you can simply right-click on any image in Internet Explorer and go to properties. There you will find the "path" to said image. (Scott, this is how I posted your Boxer's pic). So, then you just need to copy the path (highlight it, EDIT > COPY or Ctrl + C) and then when you are typing up your post, click the "image" icon:

and paste (EDIT > PASTE or Ctrl + V) the "path" into the field and click, OK.

Then, when you preview or post your image will show up full size in the thread.

Now, all that said, you need to have a server to "host" you pics in the first place. Of course, that is what the online gallery here does for you, or if you have your own webspace like I do, you can upload the images there, or you can use a free photo hosting service like http://www.flickr.com/ or something.

I'm not 100% sure what CeCe is entirely. Our best guess is a Rathuahua. I'm thinking 25% Rat and 75% Huahua. That 25% could also easily be Toy Fox as well. She is pretty big for a pure bred Chihuahua and has a lot of small terrier features (longer head, slightly longer legs, extra cuteness, etc). I don't see many papered Chis that look like CeCe, even though she was sold to us as a Chihuahua, more people think she is a terrier first.

Scott - Thanks....They are pure German stock...back hips are even height as front. That is the easiest way to tell. Americans have bred them with slopping rear quarters which I think is ridiculous looking.

Bart - Thanks....they are incredibly smart its almost scary. We have commands that allow them to persue an attacker but stop right at his feet barking and waiting for the command to bite.

    Big - Thank you...

Trust me, we have not had an attempted burglary in a long time. We truly have a unique breed line considering the colors of our dogs with the heavy black backs versus the traditional tans and browns.

That's what I thought ,But i didn't want to say anything about the sloping hips being insane,in case I was wrong. It's just not right,LOOKS or biomechanically speaking. Beautiful dogs!

Scott - The sloping hips look ridiculous. It is purely hinders their performance and looks (in my opinion). Thank you once again.

    Chop - Thanks.

We have two pups for sale if anyone does happen to be close enough and or interested.
