Chopper,
I installed four 6 1/2" Infinity Reference 6022si speakers, by enlarging the cut-out in the rear brackets as shown in Etlsport's pictures. The tweeters allow for a 3 db boost (selectable) for better imaging, and I like the mid-bass and bass performance. Also, these speakers are pretty efficient, and are a good choice if you're not amplified.

HookedOnTronics....over 80 bucks cheaper than Crutchfield, and free shipping.125 bucks for four speakers at my door. Deal!
You guys are right...the rear speaker placement is ridiculous.
I think you'll be diggin' the Infiniti's, I used two of their panel units for my rears & they work great in conjunction with the RF's I used in the front.
Of course I couldn't do anything like a normal person would, so I mounted the Infinitis in small speaker boxes I had laying around & mounted them to the B pillars...poor speaker placement problem solved, & as a bonus, I didn't have to remove the rear interior panels.
And yes, my way is a bad idea if you have a back seat or are concerned with resale value.![]()
