My MRI was today but the radiologist was not in so I will not know due to the holiday the true final outcome untill wensday. I have a follow up test on Monday to be ran on my organs. The sphleen, liver and (gal)bladder are not operating to specs. Also it has aggravated my migraines that I have in similar nature to scott. In fact I was to get tested next month for the same procedure he went through. I dont remember what all I said in my first post (too drugged to read it) but once again thank you all.

I just had to get online. I am a fighter when it comes to injuries and absolutely hate sitting around. So the least I could do was attempt to get online and check this site out in hopes of finding the window fix issue video - to conveince me to purchase the brackets.

To all who advised that a good lawyer is needed. That is never a problem for me.... My dad a well known lawyer here in the Kentuckiana area and is more fuled than ever to take a case......(Im a pre law student as well)

Car for the fiance wise...I wanted to get her into an AXIOM but that might not happen. SHe is budgeting in the under $10,000 range. She midly cares about gas mileage. She wants a sunroof and leather is possible. She like autos from the bigger explorer (to feel powerfull i think) to the Jetta or Mazda 6, but is having troubles on finding one she likes with low enough mileage...I am trying my best but I am not at my best. So far we saw a Saab 2003 9-3 with 50K on the clock for roughly 9k? Open to suggestions. I will tell her to check this thread too....

    Thank you all again....
Suggestion...never alow her to look at a Saab again. Get better soon

I think I've had all of those injuries, plus the ribs puncturing the lung. But not at the same time!
The Back injury and nerve damage can be slow to heal, I had to clump along for a few months, not able to control my foot for a while. I still remember the sci-fi dreams from pain, meds, and lack of sleep.
The good news, I don't even give it much thought these days. It will get better Sounds like you are keeping your spirits high, hang tough.

Yeah, I got caught. Saab idiosyncrasies get very expensive, very quickly...ie. replacing/reprogramming a lost keyfob runs around a grand!! Mazda 3's and 6's handle great, are reliable, and run efficiently....leave the Rotary for the gearheads. The Nissan Altima we bought in '03, has provided 70,000 problem free miles so far...only oil changes. There is always, the soulless but utterly dependable Camry, and my personal favorites (for commuting duties) the Civic or Accord. I currently race Mazda's, and have piloted Nissan's in the past, so I am a bit biased, but the above vehicles are the models my experience has shown to be the most dependable, and easy to work on. Take good care of our John

    Get Better!

I haven't been on the forum in a few weeks and did not know about your injuries. You'll be in my prayers and thoughts along with Moncha. Get better quick! Best regards, Scott

Sorry to hear about the accident. The injuries suck, but having a pickup truck sitting in your lap could have resulted in a lot worse! Glad to hear that you made it through - get the rest you need and resist the temptation to do more than you should before the doctors tell you it's OK! Keep us posted on your recovery!

Wow, so sorry to hear about the accident man... Keep up the fight and get better real soon.

As for the replacement car, it might be tough for under $10k, but I'd look for a used Jetta or Passat TDI (diesel). Comfort and luxury on the well loaded ones are comparable (in my opinion) to much more expensive vehicles and fuel mileage and reliability are excellent. Even with the soaring fuel prices these days, diesel is still the more economical option, and if they go much higher, biodiesel will be an even better option (last I checked it retailed for $3.25 - 3.50 /gal).
