If God gave it four wheels....... does it make sense to only use two?
I had a gas station encounter just last weekend (I get people asking about or acknowledging the VX once a month or so). The guy at the pump next to me asked what it was, so I went through the whole explanation for him. He really, really liked it! Myself, I got a big kick out of his F-250 with a Chevy sticker on the back window and a Calvin-peeing-on-Ford sticker on the tailgate. I got a big laugh out of it and asked what kidn of statement he was trying to make there. He replied, "Rednecks are idiots." :-)
I get the biggest response from fast food drive up windows cashers, “This is the coolest car I have every seen.” “Where can I get one of those?” “Duuuude! You must really hookup.” My favorite is when they don’t say anything and just zone out for a bit like my VX was a striper or something.![]()

Another funny thing that happens a lot when I cross the Canadian border everyday (where they don't have VX's) is the border guards will slip in questions about it. It'll be, "Where do you live, what kind of car is that, where are you going, when's it coming out, how long have you been out of the country, what year is it, purpose of your visit, how much did it cost. It's so funny because they ask everything in the same tone so that nobody would even notice them veering off the subject at hand unless they were really paying attention. It's happened a LOT of times in the same way.
Canadian VXer!
I've had more comments in the month since I put on the fat Nitto 404s, than in the last three years combined. Filling the wheel wells really changed the character...instead of looking like it's running around on its tippy-toes, it now looks planted...a Bulldog stance. Most have been Jeep guys, one was a kid in an old Rodeo...he actually did a U-turn and followed me to the shop, to see what it is. Just proves, sometimes it's the little things that change everything
Then that's explains why I get it constantly. I've had big Nitto Terra Grapplers on mine for three years now. I can see Jeep guys trying not to look because they know I'll see the jealousy in their eyes! Check them out and check out my new Clearz marker lights and mixed StainlessSteel and Titanium grill badge! http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/sh...=10769&cat=515
