I was thinking about riding up (and down) the Moab Rim trail. Great views at the top and if we are lucky we can watch some vehicles get thrashed!
Of course I am up for suggestions...Slick Rock trail, ...? Time permitting we could maybe hit a couple of trails.

If anyone is planning on renting a bike in Moab remember they recommend reserving 2 weeks ahead!

So is anyone going to join Ascinder and I????????? It will be a fun day.

Come on guys, I promise I'll make Billy sign a disclaimer swearing he won't kill us on these trails I'm no mountain biking hero myself, I just think we'll have a great time and see some more scenery than we would on foot. I think Crncnn is down to go now, and I was try to con Bart into it the other day. I may throw our bikes on a rack and bring them in that way, they'd be good to cruise around on at the portal anyways(don't wanna use my legs like a sucker, Ha!

Like I said, I won't be killing myself out there. Just having fun. I have the legs and lungs but lack bigtime in the technical skills!
I was thinking of doing Slickrock in the AM then heading over to Moab Rim if time permits.

For those joining in a Camelback type hydration system is highly recomended!

HERE are some trail descriptions for some possibilities. I don't know everyones skill/condition level so what do you guys think? I have the conditioning but not a lot of time on a Mt Bike. I am up for anything though. If I can't ride it I can always walk it. So what do you think?

Also since it can warm up quickly I'd like to get started by 8-9. Was thinking we could meet at the Portal at 8 and then head out from there. That way we may have time for a second trail if we want.

Well, I think it would be awesome, but I don't want to lug our bikes along with everything else....and I am not fond of rental equipment, typically.

Well.... if your still up for riding around 5pm I will head out with you. Can't say that I will keep up though. Soverign would be a decent evening ride and it's out and away from the valley. Wouldn't have to do the whole thing, just quick small loop.

Crager...unfortunately I think my rental has to be in by the time they close Mon.

MFPGASMASK...Poison Spider rents out some really nice bikes. They have quite a good selection.

So, come on and join in!

Klondike Bluff and Poison Spider Mesa both sound cool. But like I said we can decide depending on who goes.

Worth a shot. If someone wants to go, I have a Medium Haro VL120 LT that I will let someone borrow, full suspension, time pedals. One pedal is kinda stuck, but if I know someone wants to use it, then I will get it un-stuck and put some regular padals on it.
