2001 Isuzu VehiCROSS (build in progress): 4JX1/A340/part time, 2" body lift, front Aisin hubs, rear Aussie Locker, 4.56 gears, OEM rear sway bar disconnect, AirFlow snorkel, cabin air filter
1980 Jeep Cherokee (assembling): 1.5" body lift, TBI, HEI
1987 AMC Eagle: stock
No. The same engine and transmission. Just some interior/exterior improvements.
Here is the difference between 175LTD and stock (you can use Google Translate if you mind the text): http://www5e.biglobe.ne.jp/~nosweb/v...ed_edition.htm
I think the 1999 175 Limited Editions came with the 3.5 (could be mistaken though) - if so all the engine stuff should be pretty much the same (emissions may be slightly different and the JDM had a different exhaust run, if memory serves). I think there are a couple of aussies and a kiwi or two on the forum, but I haven't seen them around in a while (one guy was Chinese living in AU but he's disappeared).

John, we have at least 4 175 LTD cars in our club in Russia (and two more on the way), so I know what I'm talking about. Trust me
