    p.s.
Make your picks for BJ and Sherk.
    Yeah he showed us.

I really want BJ to win but sherk is strong and may hold him down like he did to Franca.

Sherk is an animal with the cardio to go the full 25 minutes. BJ is so talented he never had to depend on his cardio. Thus, I don't think he ever had to train that hard. You can see it in his body that he could have trained with more cardio. He always looks a little soft. With that said, I predict BJ will hit Sherk with a flying knee in the second round allowing BJ to ge a submission.

Now, here is where I cover all my bases. If that flying knee does not land in the second, then BJ's cardio let's him down in round 3,4, and 5. The decision goes to Sherk.

    Peace.

Well he is no longer known as Sean muscle Sherk to Sean flab Sherk. LOL that is what we came uo with saturday night. No more relying on the juice lol.

As for Bj he is dropped down in weight class I dont think he will eb beat but hey i was wrong about Henderson so what do I know. BJ has awesome talent alone so hopefully he wont rely on it. Sherk is a beast of a man specially @ 155 or whatever it is I forget. But will be intresting none the less.

OK, so MMAJunkie.com has an article talking about UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva and Roy Jones, jr working on negotiations for a boxing match.

    LINK

I don’t know how I feel about this. MMA fighters in a boxing match would get destroyed and vise versa. Anderson is only 1-1 in his boxing career.

    Any thoughts?

I agree. It's a different discipline. That's like asking an olympic gold medalist in wresting to go box a world class boxer or vise versa. Either way it would not be very competative.

Now to make it even for both put them in a MMA match.

    Peace.

I think that would make it a little more fair but still you have a guy who really only trains one thing, throwing him in there with someone that will kick at his legs wouldn’t go well.

    STEPPING AWAY FROM MMA...

Now the only reason I bring this up is cause he was talking crap about MMA. Floyd 'stupid head' mayweather is gonna "fight" in the WWE, what’s up with that.

Frank Shamrock got owned over this last weekend.!!

There is a XCC(Xtreme Cage Combat) here in Reno this saturday that I am going to.

Beau you in? Bart, let me know when you find out. Tickets are 25, 40 then 200. I am getting the 25 dollar since you usually have to watch the screen anyway.

Frank got OWNED! I thought he might pull it out in the 3rd but he was getting rocked. I wished he didn't break his arm (or whatever) b/c I would have loved to see one more round. Someone was going down!

Get on a plane, doors open at 6.

I dont anticipate lots of people. I went to the King of the cage and there wasnt much there and that is more popular of an orginization than XCC.

So, tonight’s fights were pretty good. The first was the best until Dan Molina got stomped. I used to like Dan until I saw his real careless attitude towards the fight and his opponent. He came out with a real arrogant attitude, at least he paid for it. Our local Reno boys didn’t fair too well, I think only two won their bouts.

    Here are some Pics….

Pretty good seats for 40 bucks.

    Dan Molina being a jerk….

Dan Molina after 2 solid rounds of elbows to the face…

Now this guy had us laughing at his shorts, that is until he choked out his opponent. BTW his nick name was Fancy Pants... Really...

    Thumbs up

Looks like a lot of fun! Question - Is that Octogon as big as the UFC's. It looks smaller in the pics.

I havent seen a UFC octogon in person, but no it is smaller. The UFC (Zuffa) has a patent on the octogon size and to "Borrow" their dimension or actual octogon it is apperantly really pricy.
