I was actually thinking about changing mine out for the exact one you got Coastie. I just stumbled across it the other day, how weird is that? I love the design, but not big enough for a spare. Then there is the problem of mounting it using the Zeus method for me. I do like it a lot though good job man!!!

That is a cool rack. Do the mounting points line up correctly?

Yeah, that's a cool rack. Think I'll be going with this one soon.
Is that a netting on top of it?

Costie, I see you got the clear lenses on too, and your wheels look good.
    Keep up the good work.

    Nice RACK~~~~

So, you bought the rack to fit on top of the bars you already had, right? Or, did you have to by the universals that are on the page you sent the link to?

    Anyway, looks good.

Keyboard is still busted, using the on-screen keyboard=PITA. Can't fit my fullsize spare in this rack, so it's a moot point. My tires are 32.3", dimensions on my current basket puts it at 32.5" wide. This "Rage Powersports" basket is only 30.25" wide, which means you could slide a stock tire in.

Man I should really start thinking ahead more. I plan on getting bigger tires later this year. Guess I better look into dimensions before I leap.

cool! just found this on a toyota forum.. turns out the coleman basket is made by Thule's canadian division... sportrack... it has extensions and a net that go with it!

also mentioned on the toyota forum is that the price is now down to $59 on costcos website

    Talking

    thanx you guys.
well the mounts come made for stock roof racks, so they fit almost perfect, the only problem is that the rubber underneth the mounts are to thick, so u have to use a blade or something and take of like 2-3 cm to make it fit, but other then that it's a perfct fit. the net on top they sell aswell for alittle less the 10 bucks and if you want there wind fairing they sell that 2, and it mounts on front of it, and comes with an extra bar and the fairing. but i'm going to buy me a larger fairing from yakima, cuz the one they make for this rack is to small in my openion.

I like the X on the sides, it goes real well with the VX Name. I'm thinking of paintong the X's red to match the rest, but i'm still questioning it.
