Funny story, though:
Bill had done EVERYTHING right on my passenger side window. Between the disassembly, careful handling with the window tint, carefully removing the still-good plastic window tabs, cleaning it, epoxying the new metal tab, reinstalling, videotaping and narrating...well, it took a few hours.
Strangely, though, with all of the "improvements", the window was actually going up SLOWER than before the fix. We kept tweaking it, and it kept going up slower...and slower...and slower.
Finally, um, we realized that the stereo had been running pretty much all day. And with the constant window use and abuse, we'd completely drained my battery!!!
So, important safety tip: if your window is going up slowly, check your battery.
Here ends today's sermon.
