Shameless Plug for the Fumoto Valve

What model do you order for the VX? F-106? Extension? - I have seen others like this in AutoZONE and such what size would I need to get or should I just only use Fumoto?

The F106 without the nipple is what you need. I can only vouch for the Fumoto-brand valves, the highest mileage one I have is at about 40K miles, the roughest duty one on my Caterpillar D6 bulldozer and the most inaccessible on my Lorain TL-25K dragline. They're tough and get the job done quick-n-easy!

For those that worry about it getting knocked off while off-roading keep in mind that the valve sticks out (at an angle even!) less than an inch more than the stock drain plug. If you manage to knock one of these off it'll only be because you managed to nail your oil pan too.

Ah, good, my question answered before I had to ask. Totally dig this plug and I think it is going to be one of my next additions.
