I'm in the same boat, I'd probably be looking at staying at the Red Rock. But when I mentioned the place to my wife - the face she gave sort of stopped the conversation there. I'm looking at the Best Western Canyonlands since it's only a few blocks from the Red Rock and it's downtown. It's about $150 night, very pricy but it keeps the wife very happy. I found most hotels like La Qinta, Ramada, Comfort Suites etc... will be $130 - $150 a night (they have decent breakfeasts..) and the "well used" places like Red Rock about half that price.
