I have one. It looks WAY better in my opinion and I have not noticed a decrease or increase in reception, but then again, I only listen to NPR if I am listening to the radio at all, so I am not really a good person to ask. Man, there was a thread, guy was selling them for like $30....I just did a search, can't seem to find it either!?!?!

I kept the bag for the antenna for the very purpose of remembering exactly what it is. I will see if I can find said bag now and post the info.

I bought one of the longers ones from this seller and my reception decreased dramatically. The build quality isn't as good as the OEM either- the top cap has already come off. My plan for a replacement is getting VW Beetle antenna.
