The NO LIMIT OFFROAD Uwharrie 4x4Cross 2008
This IS NOT my usual ISUZUwharrie or HALLOwharrie invitation…
The Uwharrie 4x4Cross is a totally different animal… an off-road Autocross-type competition, slated to take place on the Rocky Mountain Loop trail, in North Carolina’s Uwharrie National Forest – May 9-11.
160 Competitors racing in 7-minute intervals against the clock.
4 different Vehicle Classes (Stock to Highly Modified).
A total of $30,000 in Cash and Prizes will be awarded!
You will probably start hearing some noise about this event soon, in a few of the 4x4 Magazines – but once that happens, due to the limited number of slots, the likelihood of being able to register as a competitor will be next to Zero.
If you’re interested in entering as a competitor, NOW is the time to act!
So far, the Isuzu Community already has 4 Teams registered to compete:
Bansil & Smiley --- 1st Gen Isuzu Amigo... 'The RatRod'
#204 --- B Class / Stock Modified
Joe Darlington & Zman2day --- 2nd Gen Isuzu Rodeo... 'DOR Rodeo'
#211 --- B Class / Stock Modified
Joe Darlington & Zman2day -- SAS'd 1st Gen Trooper... 'Storm Trooper'
#304 --- C Class / Modified
Anubis & dallen --- SAS'd 2nd Gen Honda Passport... 'Battlewagon'
#306 --- C Class / Modified
And quite a few more will be attending as spectators

Cheers!
