    So-Cal,

    Check out Moncha's Hella Micro D fog light installation:

    I didn't see where he talks about altering the bumper, so these might work without any modifications (and they are sort of projection beams).

    Do you have a part number for the correct size with the halos, maybe somewhere off of either the packaging or an invoice?

    Ascinder,

    I still have the box that the lights came in, so I will take a picture of it tonight and post it tomorrow.

    See the pictures below for the front and back of the box. I haven't heard of the manufacturer before, so I'm guessing that they are some generic brand. The wiring diagram on the back of the box are the only instructions that came with the lights. Little bit of thinking, little bit of trial and error, and a little bit of asking around on the forum here and they went in just fine.

    Question :->

    Hey Mark (MSHardeman), I know this is an old post but just wanted to ask (if you even remember) a question...the fog lights you installed here you said you wired to an Isuzu fog light switch in the dash...how did you run wiring from the lights to the dash? Did you somehow use the existing fog light wiring already there and how did you pick into it before the steering column light switch already there? Or, did you run new separate wiring from the lights to the inside switch through the firewall?
    Greatly appreciate the info, or from anyone who has done this...thanks!!

    VX4EGR, I'm trying to remember what I did for this, so if this gets to be a rambling post it's because I'm "talking" it out to myself as I go. The fog lights that I installed had a blue LED angel eye ring around them and from what I can remember, I wired those into the existing marker light wiring so that they come on with the running lights. The actual fog light part came with a wiring harness that I ran in the engine bay, to an auxillary fuse box (per Moncha's write up) for power, and then ran into the cabin, through the firewall, and then hooked that up to a stock Isuzu fog light switch (again per Moncha's write up). You can get the fog light switch out of a Honda Passport, or a Trooper (can't remember which years), or call Merlin and order a new one from him. I think I got my switch from Merlin, but I did clip the switch pigtail out of a Honda Passport that I found in a salvage yard. I did have to add one wire to the pigtail to make it compatible with the switch, but that was easier than creating a pigtail from scratch.

    If you would like I can hunt down Moncha's write ups for you to go from. I know they helped me a lot.

    Hope that helps. If you need any more info let me know.

    Thanks...

    MSHardeman, thank you for the info! What you wrote makes sense and is what I thought. I'm going through options for changing the fog lights but always wondered if it is even possible to use one of those Isuzu fog light push button switches inside but somewhere somehow tap into the wiring that is already there which is controled by the steering column light switch. In other words, normally when you flip that steering column switch, it first turns on marker and stock fog lights, then another turn adds your headlights. So what I'm thinking is somehow taking the fog light wiring out of that mix and running it to a separate Isuzu fog light switch added to the dash....then just adding a new/different fog light assembly to the bumper outside...thus having a separate switch controlling the fog lights, without having to run separate wiring through the engine bay and firewall to do that. Hopefully not confusing but perhaps someone here had either looked into it or done it with success?
