    He probably told you that low pressure so that you would be more impressed with the ride. I still recommend the 'age old standard' of 32-36 psi. Unfortunately I don't know of any way to tell what pressure you will get the best wear - only time will tell you that (but I'm guessing it's in the range listed above).

    BTW, the gas mileage will also suck at 26 psi.

    I think the stock duelers are recommended to be run at 29psi. I run them at 33 though. you could try drawing lines across the tread of your tires and see how they wear to find the best pressure to run them at. If the line wears out of the center first, you need less pressure, if it wears on the sides first, you need more pressure. as tom said, the lower your pressure the worse your gas mileage is, the higher your pressure is, the harsher the ride will be

    I ran the old stock stones at max. pressure....like 40lbs. or so. (The roads are very smooth here) They still had tread at almost 34000, and I'll take a stiff legged ride over a mushy one anyday....32-36 sounds about right.

    ive heard about people using chalk and driving a very short distance, to get more long term results i used an enamel pen for model cars, got them at wal-mart, but u could get them at hobbytown usa or other places that sell testors paints
