Here's a link to my own experience with the #1 piston going out on me when I had my new '01 at 14k only. Read throughout the thread and I hope that the descriptions in the thread will help enlighten those who are concerned about the noises you hear from the engine. Please remember, that not all sounds may result in my delimma. The best thing is to have your authorized (trustworthy) dealer check it out and give you a prognosis.
