Hopefully someone can explain this to me. I have a '99 VX. A disk jammed in the CD changer and blew the blower motor relay! Replaced that but it only lasted a week or so until that relay fried too. One position on the CD changer still does not function.

Since the blower motor at high speed squeals somewhat (a blown relay, which is a series of resistors to step down the speed, still allows the high position to function) I'm looking at replacing the motor itself. But, can anyone tell me why there is this apparent connection between the CD changer and blower motor and, if I invest in yet another relay (not cheap) and blower motor, will I fry the new one again?
