This thread makes me want to dig up some of those CDs I haven't heard in awhile: Prong, Apex Theory, Violent Femmes, Coal Chamber, Credence, Bush, Escape From LA soundtrack, Rorshach Test, etc....

SIDENOTE: My Mom worked at a recording studio in San Francisco in the 60's. So she dated John Kay from Steppenwolf and partied with Janis Joplin... that explains a bit about how I came out, right?!

What's wrong with Limewire? I know this is a little off topic, but what download service does everyone else use. I've never had a problem with Limewire, and I can always find what I'm looking for, but I'm always up for something new. I guess we don't get much news out here in the mountains of Colorado, so someone get me up to speed.

When was the last time you used it? All I can remember about it is downloading something that turned out to be a virus or spyware....

Limewire used to be good but that was a couple years ago. I could never find anything but viruses and such. I personally use mininova and bit commet....I wont name, names (becuase of past request not too) but it was someone here that introduced me to this way of downloading - and I will never go back.

I like Shareaza - it's an aggregator that hooks into multiple networks.
