The Gatorback product is the one I bought, a few weeks back. It's just a couple hundred bucks to do the entire VX. I shot a hunk of Rav4, just to check it out first....looks great....shoots easy....and won't pull off- it's there for good, like a Rhinoliner almost, just really thin. At some point, I'll strip the cladding off, and shoot it. Painting the stuff shouldn't be any problem, as long as it is prepped right. Plenty of adhesion promoter, and a good raw surface. Stone chips will be another matter. The Gatorback is MUCH more resilient. If you have two sets....Line-x one and go wheeling.....man, you live in VX Disneyland!! Keep the shiny ones for dress up. Bag it....you could go up, or down. You're new( no offense) we've been kicking this !%#@! around for seven years now. I'm the one that wants to do a VQ/six speed transplant, and lose all pretenses of offroadability.....dump the torsion bars, 4x4, and pretty much everything but the body.
