If you poured it in the hose rather than into the valve cover, wouldn't it end up in the intake manifold?, instead of on top of the valvetrain...just a thought.

im not sure the best way to add it.. i dripped seafoam in through the tube that goes into the intake right before the manifold.. produced a lot of smoke out the exhaust so i think it worked? or the smoke could have just been the seafoam combusting in the chamber
I think you guys are right. I get lazy sometimes and do things the easiest way I can! I'll try it your way next time and see what happens.
