hi guys.. can you fill me in please.....

what is the widest and best fit tyre for the factory rims? which you prob dont get buy here are a 7" rim 16" dia. factory tyre size here is 245/70x16"

The 99 US version had 16x7"JJ wheels, 00 & 01 versions had 18x7"JJ wheels.

285/75x16" (almost 33" in diameter/9" tread) is about the biggest you should go on the stock rim...you could go bigger, but the rim width should be wider.

You'll also need some lift & a bit of trimming to fit @ that size.

I had 265/70x16" before, & had to trim just a bit from the front inside corner of the cladding. Make friends with the forums search function found in the left sidebar of the home page. Try "trim cladding" & you'll see what I mean.
