That is the total number imported to the USA in '99, 200, and 2001.

so there could have been many many more made and spread around the world?
there were others built starting in '96 i believe.. they are right hand drive japanese spec VXs with 3.2L engines... cloth seats... round front marker lights (in place of the 3.5L symbol) and front fender mirrors... i dunno how many were made but i dont think it was very many because VX cladding was made with ceramic dies that were not meant to mass produce for very long.. so moral of the story.. the production number you saw 4,1-- is only for us models, there are others elsewhere in the world not accounted for in that number

Those window deflectors you have were also a dealer option and not offered here in the US - tough to find now although they do occasional show up in Yahoo Japan's auction.

So from the above chart, ours is simply a "stroker" version. Probably only difference is the crank and maybe some tweaked cams.
