But im still interesting if that thing from Rodeo will work with VX and it will look much better then install that aftermarket unit. Anyone here can compare the diagrams from VX and Rodeo about that wiper delay please? Because i dont know what to look for.
Those kits I posted have the delay mechanism within the module itself - meaning you wire it inline and it just works. The problem with using something from another vehicle is that there may be additional parts that you don't see that are necessary for it to work - I'm not sure if that's the case with the stem mounted delay, but it could be there's a separate module somewhere in the harness that actually affects the delay and the stem acts more like a switch. It's been my experience in the past that stem mounted controls act in this manner, so replacing with a different stem may entail finding additional parts to make it work - I guess you'll be the first to find out! I would look for one at a junk yard so you don't have a lot of money tied up in the attempt.
