What a lot of americans don't understand is that the rest of the world has been dealing with terrorism for centuries. For the most part they've figured out that terrorism is a crime, not a war. Our country's naivete is no excuse for reacting in such a poorly conceived fashion. Do we not fashion ourselves the greatest nation? Shouldn't that mean we have a responsibility to behave that way too? Doesn't that mean our leaders have a duty to lead responsibly rather then fuel the fires of fear and reactionism?Dutchie, welcome back from lurkville. My best friends is German (only referenced since he is not American) and you act just like him. I will tell you the same thing. I do not wish such actions, but I would like to see how your leaders react to a terriost attack of the same nature that was placed on us.
Attempting to justify such poor governance by claiming another country would do the same is absolutely beneath us. Are we leaders or are we followers?
